SCHOONER NORTH CAROLINA WRECKED.--- The steamer QUEEN OF THE WEST, which arrived yesterday morning, from Cleveland, brought down the captain and crew of the schooner NORTH CAROLINA, Capt. Drury, which had capsized in the gale of Monday and Tuesday, off Erie. One of the crew was drowned; the remainder were taken off by the QUEEN. The NORTH CAROLINA was an old vessel and was owned by Moses Smith of this city. She had been rebuilt at this port during the past winter, and was not insured. When lost she was bound from Erie, with a cargo of staves

The steamer HUDSON, on her trip down, fell in with the wreck of the schooner NORTH CAROLINA, off Maitland, and towed her into port.

      The schooner NORTH CAROLINA, which was dismasted and abandoned some two weeks ago, was sold yesterday to Capt. Harrison of the schooner ILLINOIS, for $2,200. Capt. H., is an enterprising, thorough-going sailor, and says he will have the NORTH CAROLINA our and ready for service again in five days.

The schooner NORTH CAROLINA, which capsized on this lake, off Barcelona, and was abandoned by the crew some two weeks since, and which was subsequently fallen in with and towed into port by the steamer HUDSON, was sold some days since, to Captain Harrison, and has been fully repaired. She cleared yesterday for Erie.
