SPARTA Schooner, lost sails and deck load of lumber, put into Milwaukee. Property loss $500.

The schooner SPARTA, of Milwaukee, arrived here yesterday from Grand River,
having, during the late gale, lost her boat, mainsail, jib, split foresail, and had deck
load of lumber washed overboard.------Milwaukee Sentinel

NOTE:--suggest this is an error, and vessel should be SPARTAN (see SPARTAN)
