COMELY Schooner, in gale winds Lake Erie, jettisoned deck load of salt. Property loss $300
      Buffalo Democracy

We learn that the schooner COMELY, bound from Oswego to Toledo with a cargo
of salt was out in the late gale and was obliged to throw overboard 195 bbls. of salt.
She managed to get into Gravelly Bay, where she was lighted.
