FIRE.-- This morning, about half past 2 o'clock, the schooner ALWILDA, lying at the dock, foot of Commercial Street, took fire in her stern cabin, and was still burning at our going to press, though the firemen had succeeded in getting the flames under control. She had just taken in a cargo, mostly turpentine, and pitch, with a deck load of marble, which was bound up the lake.

She was a small vessel of 75 tons burthen, and was insured for $3,000---her full value. She had taken aboard the previous day, 98 bbls. turpentine, and some resin, and a deck load of marble slabs for Sandusky; shipped by A.R. Cobb and Maxwell & Patten.

The schooner ALWILDA, which was burnt in the Creek during Thursday night last, was being pumped out on Saturday evening, and would be taken to the railway for repairs. Her hull does not appear to have suffered much.
