MARINE ACCIDENT. -- VESSEL SUNK. -- About ten o'clock on Saturday morning, as the topsail schooner WILLIAM BUCKLEY, loaded with coal for Gravelly Bay, was making sail at the mouth of the river, and while trying to avoid a collision with the steamer MAY QUEEN, which was then coming into the river, she fell to leeward and thumped upon the Easr pier, knocking a hole in her bottom. Against the advice of the bystanders, the vessel continued on her course, after getting off, and in conse1uence sunk, in fifteen minutes, about 200 yards north-east of Stockley's Pier. The master and crew were saved by boats from the shore. The vessel belongs to Conneaut, and will be raised. Her cargo was intended for Chamberlain & Crawford's line of propellers.
