It is reported that the schooner CARLTON, Capt. Allen, is ashore on Lake Ontario. She was bound up, we believe.

The following vessels are ashore on Lake Ontario -- Brig ISABELLA, at the mouth of Eighteen Mile Creek, loaded with salt, and will be got off with a trifling injury; Schooner MINERVA COOK; near the same place, loaded with railroad iron; Schooner FRANK PIERCE, near same place, cargo not stated; Scow schooner SAMSON, Canadian, near the same place; Schooner CARLTON, ashore a short distance from the mouth of the Niagara River, cargo of wheat.

The schooner CARLTON, Capt. Allen, which we noticed as being ashore yesterday, is reported to have gone to pieces near Wilson, where she was taking on wheat. We understand she had taken on about 300 bushels when she was driven off by a gale of wind.

SCHOONER OFF.---The schooner CARLTON, of Oswego, owned by Mr. Doolittle, which went ashore near the "Devils Nose" last fall, was taken off yesterday, and brought into the Genesee. She was light, we believe, when she went ashore, and did not sustain much damage. ----- Rochester Union
