SCOW LOST.---The Detroit Free Press says:--The scow FRANK PIERCE, bound from Cleveland for this port, loaded with coal, came to anchor on Sunday morning last, during the snow storm, near Point au Pelee, and while there sprung a leak and suddenly capsized. She was luckily discovered by the OCEAN, which was anchored at no great distance. The life boat of the OCEAN was instantly manned and sent to her assistance, and the crew, five in number, were all saved. The vessel had been insured for $2,500, but the insurance had run out some days before the accident.
