Brig CASTALIA, and Schooner MAGNOLIA collided on Lake Michigan. Property loss $700 (for both ??)

      The schooner MAGNOLIA and brig CASTALIA collided Saturday, about twelve miles north of the harbor. The brig ran across the bows of the schooner, taking off her bowsprit clear up to the stem. The brig's bulwarks were somewhat raked and a few of her stanchions were carried away. - Chicago Press, 26.
