LATHAM, LUCY Schooner, lost small spars and split canvas in a gale on Lake Erie.
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      January 31, 1857 (casualty list)



      The schooner CUBA arrived at Detroit on the 14th, with bowsprit and head-gear gone. Asso the brig OCEAN at same port, with similar damage. The schooner LUCY LATHAM arrived the same day at Malden, with booms gone and canvas split.
