PETREL Schooner, cargo railroad iron, collided with some unknown vessel off Point Pelee Island, and lost mainsail, and jib-boom, gall, and boat, and stove bulwarks, returned for repairs.

      THE GALE OF SATURDAY - We have received the following particulars concerning
the gale of Saturday : The schooner PETREL, hence with a cargo of railroad iron collided
with an unknown schooner near the Islands, losing her mainsail, boom and gaff, split her
jibs, stove her bulwarks, lost her boat, and was obliged to return for repairs.
