      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      January 31, 1857 (1856 casualty list)

      MARINE ITEMS. - The schooner ELLEN KENT, partly loaded with lumber, and
the schooner MAGIC, also partly loaded with lumber, are ashore on the east side of
Lake Michigan. The schooner LADY JANE is supposed to be ashore.
