      ASHORE. - Capt. Door reports the schooners CALVIN SNELL and B.F. WADE ashore in the bight above Presque Isle Peninsula. Capts. Stannard and Dorr boarded them Friday morning. They had no water in them, nor had they made any at dark Friday night. A strong northwester was blowing right on the beach. The SNELL is loaded with 13,500 bu wheat, shipped by P. Anderson, Chicago, for Montreal. The WADE is partly loaded with wheat, oats, pork and flour, from Kenosha for Buffalo. - Detroit Tribune.

      VESSELS ASHORE. - Capt Stewart, of the steamer MICHIGAN, which arrived on
Sunday, reports the schooners B.F. WADE and CALVIN SNELL ashore above Presque
Isle. The SNELL was laden with 13,500 bushels of wheat, from Chicago for Montreal,
and the WADE was laden with flour, wheat, oats and pork, from Kenosha for Buffalo.
Neither of the vessels were leaking, but a strong northeaster was blowing, which was
unfavorable for them. With good weather they would be got off without injury. - Detroit
Advertiser.

GOT OFF. - The schooners CALVIN SNELL and B.F. WADE, ashore a little above
Presque Isle, have both been pulled off by the RELIEF. The SNELL reached here
today in tow of the tug LION. - Detroit Tribune.
