Schooner VIRGINIA PURDY, collided with the Brig GLOBE on Lake St. Clair. Property loss $150.

COLLISION. - On Saturday, the schooner VIRGINIA PURDY, in tow of a tug,
coming across the St. Clair Flats, bound down, collided with the brig GLOBE,
bound up, under sail. The VIRGINIA PURDY lost her jibboom, head-stays, &c.,
receiving damage to the extent of some $300. She came down to this city and
stopped for repairs. The extent of the brig's damage we did not learn. She kept
on her way up. - Detroit Advertiser.
