SCHOONER CREOLE. - This schooner left here on Thursday morning, laden
with hoops and staves and bound for Oswego. When off Point au Pelee she sprung
a leak and came near going ashore, but by means of the pumps she was kept afloat
so as to reach Rondeau garbor, where she now lies, with six feet of water in her
hold. Her captain came up to the city looking for a vessel to take on her cargo. It
is expected she will be got off without much difficulty when lighted and brought up
to this city for repairs. - Detroit Advertiser.
