Steamer CLEVELAND, and Schooner FRED HILL, collided off Grand Haven, Lake Michigan. Property loss $650

COLLISION - About 8 o'clock on Monday night, as the steamer CLEVELAND,
for Grand Haven, was going out of the harbor, she was run into by the schooner
FRED HILL, from the east, loaded with lumber, carrying away a portion of the
forward upper deck of the steamer, and the jib-boom and some of the head gear of
the schooner. The steamer returned to port, and is repairing damages, which are
inconsiderable, and will be ready for sea again by noon to-day. - Mil. News.
