Cleveland, Nov. 11. - The schooner J.H. DRAKE, owned in Chicago, ran into the pier last night, and carried the light house completely away, and sunk across the channel, blocking the harbor entirely up.
The propeller CUSHMAN, in endeavoring to enter the harbor, ran into the schooner INDUSTRY, which was lying on the west pier, cutting her in two. The propeller was slightly damaged.

      . . . . .

During Friday night (11/9) the schr. INDUSTRY, owned by Capt. Charles Hearness, of this city, put out with 100 tons of coal, but was compelled to put back for shelter. In entering she struck on the west pier. The captain let go her anchor, hoping to hold her, but she swung round and was lifted by the heavy seas upon the piles, where she has laid ever since. During all day Saturday she pounded heavily, and the sea washed over her at every wave. She will undobtedly go to pieces.

NOTE - There seems to be a little mix up in the casualties, the Express seems to suggest Buffalo as the casualty site ?
