Capt. Fawley, of the schooner ANDOVER, which vessel lies on a reef at Point au Barque, arrived here Saturday morning per steamer HURON. Capt. Fawley entertain no doubt but that this vessel can be got off with the services of a good tug and steam pump at no great expense. She lies in about eight feet of water, with a sufficient depth to float any vessel around her. She has the greater portion of her cargo yet on board. She has sustained no serious injury thus far, aside from damages in her bottom. ---- Detroit Tribune

      . . . .

Capt. Frawley arrived here on Sunday morning, on the prop. HURON, from the wreck of the schr. ANDOVER, at Pt. au Barque. She has yet on board the greater portion of her cargo of lumber, and, aside from a hole in her bottom, is as yet apparently uninjured.
Capt. Frawley is of the opinion that she can yet be saved with a good reliable tug and a steam pump, at no great expense. She lies in 8 ft. of water, with a plenty to float any craft around her.
