PROPELLER MISSOURI SUNK.---The Detroit Tribune of Saturday, say a letter to Messrs. J. L. Hurd & Co., of this city, received today by the propeller COMET, from Capt. Woodworth, and dated the 10th. inst., states that this fine propeller struck on a reef at Forty Mile Point on Lake Huron, and 18 miles from Cheboygan River, and was immediately scuttled to prevent her pounding and going to pieces. The wrecking tug LEVIATHAN, stationed at Mackinaw, has been sent for, with which Capt. Woodworth was of the opinion that she could be pumped out and immediately got afloat again. The MISSOURI is a first class propeller of the Western Transportation Company's line, and is commanded by a careful and skillful navigator. She struck at 12 o'clock at night during thick weather.
LATER.---We learn that the tug LEVIATHAN went to the assistance of the propeller MISSOURI, pumped her out, and got her off. She was found to be so little damaged as to be able to proceed on her way to Chicago.
