Important To Ship-Owners

Louis Shickluna, Esq., our well known and enterprising Ship-builder, has sold the whole of his extensive establishment to Messrs. Donaldson & Andrews, by which name the firm will here-after be known. The latter gentleman has had charge of the entire concern for the last two years, and the former's nautical skill is so well known that one word from us would be superfluous. - Much as we may regret the retirement of Mr. Shickluna, we feel satisfied, from personal acquaintance with his successors, that the business could not have fallen into abler hands, and that the enterests of ship-owners will not suffer by being entrusted to their keeping. A full supply of every material necessary to the trade will be kept constantly on hand, and the business carried on in all its branches as heretofore. We wish the new firm great success, believing that the future prosperity of the town is in a great degree entrusted to their keeping.
