Schooner GERTRUDE, damaged by collision with the Schooner GERRITT SMITH, off Long Point, Lake Erie.

      COLLISION. - The schooner GERTRUDE arrived here Sunday evening from Buffalo having had a collision with the schooner GERRITT SMITH off Long Point. The former vessel had a portion of her larboard rail carried away and more or less of her bulwarks. The latter was bound down, grain loaded, but did not sustain damage sufficient to injure her cargo. - Detroit Free Press.
