Captain E.H. Ferris, of the brig HELFENSTEIN, reports having seen what is he supposed to be a large scow schooner, about 15 to 20 miles from land, between Port Stanley and Port Burwell, rather nearer the latter port, with lower masthead heads and topmasts just above water. He says he should judge from appearances there had been a collision which was the cause of her sinking. Passed her Friday at half past 11 A.M.
