Schooner DOUSMAN, lost a man overboard on Lake Erie.
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser

DROWNED. - A man named Joseph Armstrong, employed on the schooner ROSE
DOUSMAN, who shipped at Detroit within a short time, fell overboard about three
miles this side of Gravelly Bay and was drowned. His legs in some way got entangled
in the main sheet, and he was forced over the side of the vessel. He lived some
nineteen miles from Cleveland, but we dod not learn in which direction.
