RICHARDS, J.S. Schooner, grain, damaged in hull and cargo by collision off Cleveland.
      Marine Disasters of the Western
      Lakes 1871, Capt. J.W. Hall.



We learn from Messrs. D.P. Dobbins & SOns that the schr. J.S. RICHARDS with a cargo of wheat from Milwaukee to Oswego was run into off Cleveland on Saturday night by an unknown vessel. She succeeded in completing her trip to Oswego, though badly damaged. Her cargo was uninjured.
