MONTGOMERY Propeller, arrives at Milwaukee in a leaky condition.
      Marine Disasters of the Western
Lakes during 1871, Capt. J.W. Hall.

LEAKING. - On Saturday forenoon the prop. MONTGOMERY arrived at Milwaukee in a leaky condition. The pumps of the boat had been in operation for 24 hours, but while they kept the boat free from water they afforded little chance of repairs, as the water found its way in and about the shoe of one of the pumps.
