Schooner S.S. OSBORNE, damaged by striking Erie breakwater
      Marine Disasters on the Western
Lakes during 1871, Capt. J.W. Hall

      . . . . .

DISASTERS AT BUFFALO. - The bark OSBORNE, grain laden, while attempting to make the port last night, ran on the Erie Basin breakwater. Several tugs worked on her all night, and this morning succeeded in releasing her. Remarkable as it may seem, she escaped serious injury.
