Propeller tug GOODNOW, collided with the Tug SAMSON in the Detroit River; former damaged.

COLLISION. - A collision took place Thursday night at Detroit between the
tugs SAMSON and GOODNOW, the former bound down with a tow of four vessels, the latter up, light. The damage sustained by the GOODNOW was severe. She struck on the port bow, and had a hole stove in her. The SAMSON sustained no damage worthy of note.
