Died

In St. Catharines, on Wednesday the 15th instant, after a lingering illness, Mr. Russell Armington, in the 64th year of his age. Frank and open in his manner, honest and upright in his dealings, industrious and persevering in business, generous, warm-hearted and charitable, he lived generally respected, and his loss will long be deeply felt and sincerely regretted by his bereaved family, and a large circle of acquaintances and friends. He was one of whom might justly be said that "Those who knew him, lost a treasure; And those who did not, mise'd a pleasure."

Communicated.
