PROGRESS Scow, lost foremast, jibboom and bowsprit by collision at Chicago.

The scow PROGRESS drifted against the north pier at Chicago during the night of the 31st ult., and pounded until the next morning, by which time she was pretty badly wrecked. Her foremast, jibboom, bowsprit, headgear and a large portion of her stanchions, rail and bulwarks were carried away.
