GAYLEY, JAMES steam Propeller, U. S. Number 77523, built 1902, of 4,777 Gross Tons. On Aug.7, 1912, vessel collided with Steam Propeller RENSSELAER, on Lake Superior and became a total loss, with 27 persons onboard no lives were lost.
