The Steamer Thomson Kingsford.

Mr. Mattoon is crowding the work on the new steamer Thomson Kingsford, and will probably have her ready to launch next Tuesday. So far her build is first class in every respect. On the 7th of July she will take the alumni of the Oswego normal school on an excursion to the Thousand Islands.

This vessel is going to be a great accommodation to Oswego people as well as other travelers. She will make daily trips to the river country, leaving here about 9 A.M. For parties visiting the Stony Island and Henderson bass grounds the Thomson Kingsford will "fill the bill." At Stony Island she will connect daily with the steamer Flora Holden which will make daily trips from Sackets Harbor to Henderson and Stony Island. In fact Mr. Mattoon's steamer will make quite a revolution in travel down the lake and river.
