We are in possesion of no further particulars relative to the bark ADVANCE, ashore at Pt. au Pelee Island. It appears she lies on the east side of the point extending from the main land, in a bayou, where on former occasion several vessels have been beached. The MAGNET, up to the time of making out our report, had not returned. The ADVANCE is owned in Chicago, and not St. Cathrines, as before stated. - Detroit Post.

We learn from Capt. D. . Dobbins that the stm. MAGNET has arrived at Detroit with the bark ADVANCE.

      November 4, 1867 3-4

The bark ADVANCE, reported several day ago as ashore at Point au Pelee, has been got off and taken to Detroit. The Post says her damages are somewhat severe, in consequence of the pounding she received; and she will consequently need re-caulking, and more ar less refastening.
