After pumping the water from the stm. SULTANA, she got up steam and undertook the voyage to Buffalo on Saturday, but after getting as far as the mouth of the Bay, she was obliged to return; the water having gained so fast that it was not deemed advisable to proceed. In coming in, her fires were nearly extinguished before she reached her berthm abd she nearly lost her headway.

THE SULTANA. - This rather unfortunate craft, says the Sandusky Register, of the 17th. inst., has been again pumped clear, the leaks have been found and temporarily stopped and she is now ready for a voyage to Buffalo. She would have taken leave yesterday were it not for the process of 'ne exeat' served upon her by Jack Frost, who has her fast in his icy clutches. Capt. Appleby still hopes for a noderation of the weather so that he may get into the lake and winter his craft in Buffalo.
