BUFFALO Bark, Capt. McGill, went ashore at Manitou Island on the 27th. Oct. and is a total wreck. No lives lost. She had on board ---- feet of lumber shipped from this port by E. B. Vessel insured for $2,000. Cargo $2,700. Capt. McGill is in town and will return to the wreck next week for her sails, rigging and such. - Port Huron Observer
