ANOTHER COLLISION:-- The schooner TRENTON was run into last Saturday night about half past 10 o'clock, between Conneaut and Ashtabula, by a brig, supposed to be the MARY, bound from this port to Chicago. She sustained considerable damage, having her bowsprit, jib-boom, head gear and cutwater carried away. The captain of the schooner hailed the brig and wanted her captain to lay to, until they could ascertain the effect of the damage. Instead of doing so he kept on his course, and left the schooner to make her way into port the best way she could. The captain of the TRENTON informed us that it was a case of gross negligence on the part of the captain of the MARY.
