The lower lakes Canadian schooner CALIFORNIA, and steamer GRIFFITH came in collision night before last, below Cleveland, by which accident the schooner received much injury. A correspondent writes us that the CALIFORNIA is ashore ten miles below Cleveland. She was loaded with 2,300 bbls. flour, and is insured for $11,500 in the North Western Company. The flour will probably be saved in damaged state. We believe the GRIFFITH received no serious injury.
