The Stmr. ALABAMA, bound up, and the Steamer SUPERIOR, bound down, came in collision during a dense fog off Barcelona on Friday night. The ALABAMA struck the SUPERIOR just back of her starboard wheelhouse, and stripped her clean to the hull, from wheelhouse to her stern. She lost some of her freight that was stowed on her guard, and it is feared that two or three passengers were lost. The ALABAMA received but slight injury.
