Accident On The Canal - On Friday last, a man named Michael O'Conner, met with immediate death while working on the canal near the Stone Bridge. He was in the act of guiding a stone, then suspended on a crane, when it slipped through the chain, on to his legs and the lower part of his body, crushing the poor fellow frightfully.
