Brig S.B. RUGGLES, coming up from Buffalo, with a new locomotive for the Lakeshore Railroad, lost it overboard off Ashtabula, some time in the night. It stood on deck crossways, and a heavy lurch of the vessel in a big sea, started her from her fastenings, and she took bulkwarks and all overboard. No insurance. The tender was saved.
