HEFFELFINGER, F.T. Steamer, collided with Steamer ALLEGHENY in fog in the Detroit River, September 3, 1915. Port bow damaged above water line; repaired at Cleveland in three weeks time; 20 plates damaged; repairs estimated at $8,000 and were completed Sept. 24th.
