The tug OSWEGO returned to Detroit from the schr. B. EVELEIGH yesterday, having abandoned her. She lies on the same boulders, and Capt. McLeod thinks her bottom is completely gone. The steam pump made no impression on her. The schr. CORSICAN which is on Point au Pelee near the EVELEIGH, also has been abandoned.

      Schr. BARNEY EVELEIGH, one of the fleet which went ashore on Pelee Island, is still fast on at last reports. The Tug OSWEGO with steam pumps is working on the EVELEIGH.

      Capt. Doville of Cleveland, one of the owners of the schr. B. EVELEIGH, which ran on a reef off Pelee, has chartered a scow at Sandusky to go over to Pelee and bring the rigging of the abandoned craft.

      Schooner BARNEY EVELEIGH, which went ashore on the reef at Pelee is now a total wreck. Her stern is all gone and her decks and rail aft of the main hatch have been washed away. All her wire rigging is still on. Her foretopmast broke off and got foul of her cross trees where it still hangs.
