Description
Full Text

The schooner A.G. MOREY, lumber laden, from St. Ignace to Chicago, ran on the reef off Sheboygan [west shore of this lake] on Saturday night. Yesterday morning she was full of water. The crew are on board. If the wind should go to south or southeast before assistance is given her she would be in danger of going to pieces.
The MOREY measures 302 tons. She was built in Chicago by Miller in 1861, but has been rebuilt; had large repairs in 1874 and also since then. She classes B 1, and has a valuation of $8,000. Griffin and others, of Buffalo, are the owners. She is probably insured.
