Detroit, Mich., June 13. -- Murphy's wrecking tug MICHIGAN released the steamer MAGNET ashore at Georgian Bay, and then went to the assistance of the steamer METEOR on the rocks at Spanish River, but was unable to release her as she had a rock up through her bottom. The MICHIGAN returned here this morning, and will leave again tonight with pontoons to raise the METEOR. S.A. Murphy has taken the contract to release her.
