Port Colborne - Capt. Colvin, of the Schooner AUGUSTA, arrived today, and reports that when off the Dummy early yesterday morning the Mate and a boy named Avery, from Port Dalhousie, were washing the small boat, when it tipped over, throwing them both into the lake. The mate grabbed the log line and was towed with the vessel and was saved, but the boy was lost, although everything was done to save him that could be.
