the Schooner H.C. POTTER of Algonac, Capt. James B. Mitchall arrived here on the 3rd.inst., with lumber from Thompson, Mich., leaking badly, she sprang a leak off North Bay, Mich. on the morning of the 1st. The Captaim made for Two Rivers, where some of the crew of the Life Saving Station got on board and took charge of the pump, and by their kind aid the schooner was brought safely to Chicago.
