Cleveland, O., Sept. 12. -- The tug SPRAGUE and barges BALDWIN and PACIFIC all went ashore on the rocky coast on the north side of Kelley Island early this morning. They were all got off during the day. The SPRAGUE is leaking considerably, and will have to be brought here for repairs. The BALDWIN has been scuttled, and will probably be a total loss. The PACIFIC is also in a leaking condition. They had on board stone for Cleveland.

The strong winds of Tuesday night played much havoc with the shipping on the Lakes. Among other disasters is that to Messrs Smith's Barges, the H.P. BALDWIN and PACIFIC under the consort of the Tug SPRAGUE. They were loading stone at Kelly's Island and just ready to sail when the line became entangled in the wheel of the Tug and the whole fleet drifted hard ashore on the north side of the island. The Tug S.S. STONE and a lighter, at Marblehead at the time, went to their relief and succeeded in getting off the SPRAGUE and PACIFIC, but the BALDWIN is still fast, and it is feared that she will be pounded to pieces. - Cleveland Report.

She will require a new keel the entire length of the vessel, new garboard srakes, and 500 lineal feet of bottom pland. Besides this it may be found that her entire centerboard box will have to be replaced.
