Description
Full Text

The Schooner BELLE WALBRIDGE, Captain Joseph O'Brian, sprung a leak when about 30 miles from Chicago on Friday evening last, during the gale. She succeeded in making Chicago harbor with about 4 feet of water in herhold, and she continued to leak at the rate of 13 inches of water per hour, when at the dock unloading, which necessitated a crew of eight men at her pumps to keep her free. -- Chicago Report.
