Welland Canal - The Secretary of the canal has given notice, that all salt and sea coal will hereafter be permitted to pass upwards through the Welland Canal, free of toll. This move is intended to counteract the effect of the late law of this state, allowing a drawback of tolls on salt and coal exported via Buffalo. - Alb. Gaz.
