Steamer Admiral - This vessel made a trial trip from Niagara to Lewiston, yesterday, and performed the distance - seven miles - against the current, in 34 1/2 minutes, and deducting 1 1/2 minutes for a slight disarrangement of the engine, in 33 minutes. She has, we are informed, made her first trip in less time than any other boat built by the Niagara Dock Company. The speed attained, was the rate of about 14 1/2 miles per hour. The Admiral will, we believe, be ready to commence her trips in about ten days. - Toronto Colonist, April 3
