The steamship H.E. PACKER, upward bound with coal, got ashore during a snow storm at Presqu'Isle, Lake Huron. Tugs were immediately dispatched to her relief, and the steamer got afloat after jettisoning 300 tons, sustaining no serious damage. - Detroit Report.
