The schr. ECHO, while entering the river at Charlotte Saturday, collided with the stm. NORSEMAN. Part of the schooner's rigging was carried away, the bulwarks stove in and the cabin damaged considerably. the NORESMAN was not injured.

NORSEMAN. Paddle wheel steamer. Official Canadian No. 96911. Built at Montreal 1868. TRebuilt at Kingston, Ont., in 1891 and renamed NORTH KING. 175 43 x 10 and 873 tons gross. Disposition - Scrapped 1922.
